Description:
This State of the Art Neuroimaging: Bench to Bedside meeting will feature a series of focused sessions with didactic lectures and panel discussions by nationally and internationally recognized experts in Neuroimaging and Informatics. The program is designed to present to the target audience clinical challenges we face diagnostically, tools available to solve these challenges, and current work in these areas. The course also provides a look into the future of how Informatics, and “Big Data” can lead to personalized and precision medicine to improve healthcare. A broad range of cutting-edge topics in functional neuroradiology, including BOLD functional brain mapping, diffusion, diffusion tensor, perfusion, permeability, susceptibility weighted imaging, imaging the connectome will be featured. The scientific program will consist of sessions focused on specific disease processes such as demyelinating disease (multiple sclerosis), developmental diseases, traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, neuro-oncology, spinal disease and neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer’s Disease).
