Description:
Physicianship and Teamwork: Leadership Opportunities in the Era of Population Based Care will explore trends — both within and peripheral to medicine — that demonstrate how effective physician leadership is crucial to the transformation of tomorrow’s health care system.

The professional responsibility of physicians spans specialties, core clinical skills, practice demographics, research, teaching, mentoring, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients of all ages, and at varying stages of health. Today’s changing health care environment requires physicians to be visionaries, strategists, negotiators, motivators, and perpetual students of science.
