Description:
H. Keipp B. Talbot, MD, MPH, NFID director and assistant professor of medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and Robert H. Hopkins, Jr., MD, professor of internal medicine and pediatrics and director of general internal medicine at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine will discuss important vaccines recommended for older adults, including influenza, pneumococcal, Tdap, and shingles. Speakers will answer questions and discuss tips and strategies to increase vaccine uptake in older adults.

At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will be able to:
•Describe the benefits of recommended vaccines for older adults
•Summarize approaches to enhance protection of older persons against vaccine-preventable diseases
•Discuss pneumococcal and influenza vaccine and the recommendations for older adults
