About The Meeting
This course is designed to provide registrants a comprehensive review of some of the major challenges in abdominal imaging, with the goal of enabling radiologists to generate reports that offer the most specific and clinically useful diagnosis possible. The current roles of CT, MR, sonography and Fluoroscopy will be emphasized. The importance of Clinical Decision Support Tools in this process will be a central theme.

Target Audience
This CME activity is designed to educate Radiologists, as well as others who are interested in body imaging.

Educational Objectives
Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to:
-Discuss the role of imaging in the diagnosis, treatment and management of pancreatic, liver and gastrointestinal, and renal disease.
-Discuss the imaging and clinical features that allow radiologists to develop an expert differential diagnosis for many of the most common and important abdominal disorders.
-Discuss the relative merits and application of cross-sectional imaging and fluoroscopy in diagnosing GI disorders.
-Discuss the important current role of fluoroscopy in evaluating patients before and after surgery for obesity, GERD, and esophageal carcinoma.
-Discuss the current medicolegal challenges facing radiologists, and how to avoid them.
