Description:
This podcast series includes (8) 15-minute interviews with Mayo Clinic physicians as they discuss the new opioid prescribing guidelines and share real-life examples from their practice. Physicians refer to a variety of resources available to guide your assessment of a patients' candidacy for opioid therapy; and when deemed appropriate, provide recommendations for which drug, what dosage and how long a therapy should be considered. Addiction and opioid use disorder are also discussed with addiction medicine professionals.
