Thank you for your interest in the Internal Medicine Update program hosted by the Duke University Health System Department of Clinical Education and Professional Development in partnership with The Sea Pines Resort. We pride ourselves in offering high-quality educational courses on the latest developments in technology and medical practices presented by faculty at the top of their respective fields.

Although titled Internal Medicine Update, the course is primarily designed for hospitalists. The course is directed by the Duke University Hospital Medicine Program and the speakers all practice in the inpatient setting. While many of the discussions will focus on hospital medicine, both hospitalists and traditional practice internists will benefit from the highly informative presentations.

Topics for the 2018 Internal Medicine program are:

The Duke University Health System Department of Clinical Education and Professional Development is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing education to health care professionals.

The 2018 CME program offerings include: Family Medicine, July 9-12; Pediatrics Emergencies and Hospital Care, July 9-12; General Pediatrics, July 16-19; General Surgery, July 23-26; and Internal Medicine, July 23-26.
