Description:
Join us in Havana, Cuba where our primary goal is to educate radiologists, medical oncologists and surgeons to improve their diagnostic acumen related to oncologic imaging and the role of current state of the art imaging modalities. Concurrently, experience the beautiful island nation of Cuba and its unique people and culture. The multicultural approach allows for interaction with Cuban physicians, who will participate as students and take away invaluable knowledge to strengthen their healthcare system.

Gaps of radiologic knowledge exist as some technology is relatively new and other technology continues to evolve. The oncologic radiology program faculty will provide a greater experience regarding the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of PET/CT, MDCT, and MRI. Attendees will be made aware of and knowledgeable about potential diagnostic pitfalls and how to avoid them.

The multidisciplinary approach, unique to this course, will allow registrants to not only appreciate imaging from the radiologist’s standpoint, but also to integrate medical information presented by surgeons, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists. The result of this is to ultimately impact and produce best patient outcomes. The structure of the course, including panel discussions, allows registrants to have direct access to world-recognized experts in the field of cancer.

To participate in the CME educational program, participants must separately enroll and pay for the Lodging, Tour and Social Activities Package by contacting Victor Perez of VACuba at Victor Perez@Vacuba.com. Fees and information for the travel, lodging, food, tour and activity package will be provided directly by Victor Perez. Each registrant is permitted to bring one adult companion who must pay for a Lodging, Tour and Social Activities Package.

Due to the high demand for this unique opportunity, limited spaces are available. Registration closes December 15, 2018.
