During NIVW 2018, scheduled for December 2-8, 2018, the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) will host a webinar on 12/5 at 12:00 PM ET focused on overcoming misconceptions about flu and flu vaccines. William Schaffner, MD, NFID Medical Director will be joined by NFID Vice President, Patricia A. Stinchfield, RN, MS, CPNP, CIC, Senior Director of Infection Prevention and Control at Children's Minnesota, and Wendy Sue Swanson, MD, MBE, Chief of Digital Innovation and Digital Health at Seattle Children’s Hospital, to discuss common misunderstandings about flu and flu vaccines as well as communication tips on how best to respond.
