Description:
Emergency airway management in critically ill patients outside the controlled setting of the operating room is associated with a higher incidence of difficult intubations, ranging anywhere from 10 percent to 22 percent. This full day course will begin with didactic lectures of fundamental knowledge related to these procedures. The second half of the course will provide participants valuable hands-on training using human cadavers.
