Description:
The 2019 Cardiology Update for the Primary Care Provider will feature up-to-date presentations on the most common cardiac issues seen in clinical practice. The course will provide perspectives on the treatment of hypertension and hyperlipidemia for primary and secondary prevention and will review the newest drugs and data in the treatment of stable and unstable coronary disease. The indications for use of diagnostic tools, devices and procedures in electrophysiology and structural heart disease will also be highlighted.

Teaching methods include lecture, case discussion with audience response system and Q&A with faculty.
