Decide which studies are specific for the suspected diagnosis without expensive and inappropriate studies.
• An updated review of findings in trauma match the clinical problem to the most specific diagnostic test in the face of trauma.
• Assess which imaging modalities are most effective in evaluating a specific athletic injury.
• When a patient has knee pain when is it determined that an MRI is the most meaningful test?
• Try to explain which study is most helpful in deciding treatment of a neurologic clinical puzzle.
• A wide variety of imaging studies are used to evaluate the spine. Describe which one is most specific for the clinical problem encountered.
• Although flooded with new imaging tests, differentiate which are best for each symptom complex.
