About The Meeting
This symposium is structured to provide a practical clinical overview of PET and PET/CT imaging. Faculty will provide tips on image interpretation, pathology detection, therapy effectiveness, reporting guidelines and emerging applications. The latest tips, protocols, advancements and pitfalls will be presented throughout the program.

Target Audience
This program should benefit radiologists, oncologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and nuclear medicine technologists. It should also benefit physicians who supervise and interpret PET procedures as well as physicians who order these studies.

Educational Objectives
Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to:

Discuss the latest developments in PET and PET/CT when used in the assessment and follow up of neurological disorders and head and neck cancer.

Evaluate the role of PET and PET/CT in the detection and management of gynecologic cancers.

Discuss the expanding role of PET and PET/CT in the detection and management of lymphoma and lung cancer.

Explain the clinical indications and application of PET/MR.

No special educational preparation is required for this CME activity.
