Mammography and breast ultrasound are the two gold standards for breast cancer detection and diagnosis. They complement each other in your mission to find breast cancer early. This course is a mix of mammography and breast ultrasound you will find of great value as a mammographer or ultrasonographer.

Danielle will take you on a correlation of both modalities; you will get up to speed with terminology and anatomy as seen mammographically and with ultrasound. Next you will have the opportunity to learn how ultrasound is used for localizing lesions and the value of ultrasound for your augmented patients. Case studies will be presented to enhance your understanding including pathologic correlations of mammography and ultrasound images. To conclude this day you will enjoy a detailed discussion of ultrasound guided breast biopsy.
