This live educational activity, delivered via WebEx, will review barriers preventing timely diagnosis and linkage to care for patients with HCV, strategies to prevent viral breakthrough, and treatment options following its presentation. Landmark clinical trial data supporting the use of emerging agents and treatment strategies for the management of HCV will also be addressed, as will counseling points to improve adherence to, and persistence with, treatment. Throughout the live meeting, participants will be able to submit questions to the faculty through private chat. The questions will be addressed during the Q&A session at the end of the presentation.
